About Hygrade Business Group
Hygrade Business Group, Inc. (HBG) is the largest
privately held provider of print management, business and marketing solutions
headquartered in the state of New Jersey. The company’s history dates back
to 1920, beginning as a stationery store at 480 Canal Street in New York City.
Today, HBG now serves over 5,000 customers
nationwide. Hygrade's company-owned facilities, combined with integrated
strategic alliances, offer a world-class manufacturing and distribution network
- national in scope. Hygrade delivers its suite of products and services
primarily to the financial services industry, healthcare organizations, and to
general businesses.
Following are some significant milestones in the
company’s history:

Changed company name from Hygrade Stationery
Company, Inc. to Hygrade Printing and Stationery Co. |
|
1959 |
|
Merged with Lane Rotary Printing Corporation,
a NY based company, and became Hygrade Printing Corporation. |
|
1976 |
|
The company moved from New York to New Jersey.
|
|
1981 |
|
Hygrade Printing Corporation was purchased by
the current management
team. |
|
1990 |
|
Established N.A. Bancnote as an operating
division specializing in document security. |
|
1994 |
|
Parent company name changed to Hygrade
Business Group. |
|
1997 |
|
Purchased a healthcare customer base in New
Jersey and the customers of Van Wagoner Associates in Rhode Island. |
|
1998 |
|
Purchased Merit Integrated Products, Inc.
(Waterbury, CT) and the customers of New England Business Forms (Bethel,
CT). |

1999 |
|
Purchased ABF Printed Products (Jersey City,
NJ). |
|
2002 |
|
Operations of Merit Integrated Products, ABF
Printed Products, and N.A. Bancnote were merged into Hygrade Business Group.

Purchased the Customers of Erin Printing and
Graphics ( Cartert, NJ ). |

|
Purchased the Customers of Joseph Conte
Printing Services ( Madison, CT ). |
